Welcome weary travelers!
My Artist Statement
I've always found joy in the act of playful artistic creation; with great emphasis on the playful part. The works I'm most proud of come from times I truly allow myself to have fun and experiment with whatever I may be using. I want to be the ever seeking student, to both learn of and challenge my surroundings.
My wonder for the natural world coupled with the collective awe-inspiring experience of being here to experience, play with, and change said world as conscious beings is what I aim to share through my artwork.
Artist Biography
Hello, my name is Morgan White and I am a visual artist, sculptor, and craftsman based in Apex, North Carolina. After pursuing my degree and working many odd and unfulfilling jobs, I've decided that I'd like to be in control of my business endeavors and sell my artwork and handmade goods. In the past I've worked on public murals such as an outdoor staircase of old Apex High, and several ceiling panels on display in the Apex Habitat for Humanity's Restore. I work with many mediums including (but not limited to): acrylic paint, colored pencil, crayon, clay, multimedia collage, oil pastel, wall paint and watercolor! I also create custom detailing on tables for motif and wildlife lovers. On top of that I also create artisanal soaps and bath products that smell as good as they look.
At the end of the day I am truly invigorated by getting my hands dirty and creating something I can be proud of. But when I'm not arting I also spend my time loving on my kitty while enjoying movies and video games, along with observing the grandeur of nature at every opportunity.
I'm very excited to get in contact with you all! I'm currently open for commissions. Please email me at 4000morgan@gmail.com to share your commission request and learn more about my art process.
